The Christian season of Lent traditionally involves four basic elements:
- Baptism
- Fasting
- Prayer (and Scripture reading)
- Repentence
Together these four elements provide 40 days of intentional preparation...40 days of perseverance.
How does Mark 1:9-15 connect with these four elements?
How does the experience of Jesus in the wilderness connect with our experience now, in a culture that is fast-paced, conflicted and often self-absorbed?
